Visa Youth Card 

The NorthPark Community Credit Union Youth Card is a reloadable Visa card that offers youth (and parents) an easy and safe alternative to credit and/or debit cards!

• Easy to Use - make purchases while avoiding the risk of carrying cash.
• 24-Hour Cash - obtain cash at any Visa/Star ATM 24 hours a day.  Be sure and call 1-800-827-6227 and request a pin first!
• Reloadable - set up a convenient payroll deduction to add funds to your card each pay period.  Or simply stop by your nearest NorthPark Community Credit Union branch and let a member service representative assist you. After your second reload on the same card, a personalized card will be automatically mailed to you.  
• Online Tracking - check your balance, get a list of transactions, request a pin, or file a lost/stolen claim at 1-800-827-6227 or www.myprepaidbalance.com.  Be sure and have your Youth Card number handy!
• Card Design - there are a variety of designs, including holiday designs during select times of the year.

Flexibility

Whether you're are studying abroad, going to school locally, or experiencing your first job in the work force, you can use your Youth Card for purchases at millions of locations where Visa is accepted. If you are traveling abroad, you will benefit from favorable exchange rates and the convenience of accessing your funds 24 hours a day in local currency at any Visa ATM worldwide, excluding OFAC-sanctioned countries.

Convenience 

You can set up a payroll deduction to your Reloadable Card through your employer.  At the time of the card purchase or a reload, you will receive a direct deposit information form to provide to your payroll department.  Your nearest NorthPark Community Credit Union branch is also happy to reload your card for you while you bank.

Security 

Unlike cash, your Youth Card can be replaced if lost or stolen.  You will need to make sure your card is registered at the time of purchase.  You can register your card at www.prepaidbalance.com or by calling 1-800-827-6227.  In order to file a lost or stolen card, it is a good idea to record your Visa Youth Card number in a safe place, separate from your card.
