Annual Membership Meeting

12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The NPCCU Directors and Supervisory Committee are your elected Representatives!

NPCCU is an Organization of People…of Depositors and Borrowers helping each other improve their families’ standard of living!

 

The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to learn about your credit union activities and to exercise your right to vote for elected Representatives.  The Board of Directors creates the strategic direction and policies that direct staff activities.  The Supervisory Committee audits and verifies the quality of credit union operations.  Visit www.northparkccu.org under “VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES” for more details.

 

Three (3) Board of Director positions are up for election for three year terms.  George Kitchie and Lawrence Gossman are running for re-election.  Former Director Ron Archey resigned due to relocation, Nassir Patel was temporarily appointed to fill the vacancy, and now is running for election for the third position.  There is one position available on the 5-member Supervisory Committee.  This position’s term expires August 2010.  

 

The Nominating Committee encourages members with experience in finance, accounting, financial services, legal, facilities management, marketing, purchasing, information technology, insurance, business skills or a sincere interest in benefiting others to consider responding.  Current members of the Board of Directors up for re-election as well as members participating in an Educational Session about Director and/or Supervisory Committee duties, must be nominated by a member-in-good-standing and voted upon by the membership present at the Annual Meeting.

 

A ballot listing all known candidates will be available to the voting membership at the Annual Meeting.  The NPCCU by-laws do not permit voting by proxy or write-in votes.  To learn more about becoming a volunteer leader on the Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee, please submit a written request to NorthPark Community Credit Union, c/o Nominating Committee, 5965 W. Technology Center Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46278.  All written inquiries must be received no later than 8/1/2008.  Please submit a brief resume detailing your qualifications and reasons to serve.  The Committee will invite interested members who wish to be candidates to a Dinner/Educational Session to be held on or about 8/9/2008.   

 

Also, during the Annual Meeting, a new set of by-laws will be proposed.  All eligible members  will also be asked to vote on these by-laws.  Copies of the existing and new sets of by-laws are available at all NPCCU branches.  In addition, you may request copies to be sent to you at info@northparkccu.org.

 

Member Appreciation Picnic

                                                 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

     LUNCH:               Malone’s Catering will provide a tasty lunch of fried chicken and all the                                picnic trimmings you can possibly enjoy!!  Drinks and desserts provided,

                               too!    (Lunch is served until 2:30 p.m.)

    ACTIVITIES:        Bingo, Miniature Golf, Moonwalk, Prizes, Raffles! 

    COST:                 $5.00 per member (children 6 and under free).  $6.00 Day of the Event.
